Ms Entourage Error 16008

Hi,

I have a Ms Entourage 2008 installed on my imac pc. Form few back, I lost my entire email address book, after that I keep getting Error 16008. After doing simple things like trying to delete an email and then suddenly, up popped this window asking me to verify & then rebuild my database. After I rebuilt it, I got the same dialog box again. Do you know how I can delete that one email that seems to be corrupt and undeletable

If your Internet Srevice provider has a webmail interface, and the ability of POP (or IMAP, as applicable) may be able to configure your account from there to filter the mail before you try to download Entourage. Most ISPs try to filter obvious spam before it gets to you. Certainly, mail with sender nor the information submitted is likely to be spam.

First you need to open up Entourage 2008, click on the File menu and select Export. Export all items to an Entourage archive (keyword is all items). Save the file somewhere safe. It will have an .rge extension. Navigate to Macintosh HD/Applications/Microsoft Office 200x/Additional Tools/Remove Office/. Then Run Remove Office. Restart your computer. Now, Install Microsoft Office and once Entourage 2008 is back in, open it up, click the File menu and select Import. Choose the .rge file from earlier.

Try the following steps to remove Entourage Error 16008 :

1. File>Export. Export all items to an Entourage archive. All items. Entourage creates a file with .rge extension.
   
2. Use Remove Office
   
3. Install Office 2004 and Update
   
4. File. Import. Import information from your Entourage archive.
