Re: How to print a Gantt Chart view without table information?

It is possible to print a Gantt Chart view without table information. To do this, you must apply a table containing all columns that the width set to zero. You should keep in mind that a Gantt Chart view always requires a table to apply. I think that you were getting an error because you were not creating the table. The solution is that you should create a table that should have columns of which the width is set to zero. Hope that you can do it for yourself now.!!

To create a table without columns displays, follow these steps :
  1. In the View menu, click Table, then click on other tables.
  2. For tables:, click on the task.
  3. Click the New button
  4. In the Name box, enter not table info.
  5. In the first row under Field Name, enter the code and the first in line width, enter a zero (0).
  6. Select the check box in the menu.
  7. Click OK, then click Close.
By following the above steps you can create the table which would be not having any columns to display.

Once you create the table without the columns, you can use that table to print or preview a Gantt Chart view without table information as follows :
  1. In the View menu, click More Views.
  2. Select the Gantt chart, then click Apply.
  3. In the View menu, click Table, then click No information in the table.
  4. In the File menu, click Print or Print Preview.
Also you should keep in mind that printing or Preview shows only part time scale of Gantt chart without table information to the left.

Re: How to print a Gantt Chart view without table information?

you also want to know about the Gantt Chart view, so I am describing about it. If you are selecting the Fit Timescale to End of Page option, then you will have to manually change the timescale. The following steps would be useful for doing that :
  1. Click on the Page Setup, which will be on the File menu.
  2. Then click the View tab.
  3. Click to clear the Fit timescale to end of page check box.
  4. Then if you want to see the preview, click on Print Preview, otherwise move to next step.
  5. Click the Close button on the toolbar in print preview.
  6. Click on Timescale, which will be on Format menu.
  7. In the Enlarge box, reduce the percentage to reduce the width of the timescale. Increase the percentage to increase the width of the timescale.
  8. Click OK to save the changes.

Several times you need to scale the whole to fit the number of pages according to your need. Follow the steps for doing it :
  1. Click on the Page Setup, on the File Menu.
  2. Then click on the Page tab.
  3. According to your use, choose the scaling option.
  4. Lastly print your project.
You should know that when you scale your project for printing, the project information is scaled proportionally for height and width.
