How to record audio on macbook pro?

Hello to all,
I recently bought a cool new macbook pro which has MAC OS X installed in it. Earlier I used Windows xp. In Windows xp it is very easy to record audio using it's inbuilt audio recorded option. I want to record audio on macbook pro. Can anyone tell me how to record audio on macbook pro? Please help me.

I think you have to use third party software to record audio. You can use FStream to record audio. It has following features.
