    What is Blade API Monitor

I was searching for a monitoring tool on the web, when I found this tool called Blade API Monitor in the search results. As I did not get much information about the same there, I want to know that what is Blade API Monitor. Does it require any other system requirements to run in the computer. I will be upgrading to Windows 7 soon, so will it run after upgradation? I am awaiting for suitable replies.

Blade API Monitor is actually a very good monitoring software as well as a developer spy tool, that has the ability to trace and log API and ActiveX interface with parameters. It has a very flexible interface and hence, all the users including the beginners can use it without any issues. The price of this software is about $79.00 and it comes along with a file size of just 2.42 MB.

The main features of Blade API Monitor are as given below:
    1. Trace NT Native API and undocumented APIs
    2. Predefine 8000 APIs' prototype
    3. Support Script Macro
    4. Generate PDB files without source code with ease
    5. Support multi-thread
    6. Trace MFC Class method

But, I do not think that it will run properly in Windows 7 operating system.

Re: What is Blade API Monitor

Here are the operating systems supported by Blade API Monitor:
    • Windows 2000
    • Windows 2003
    • Windows XP
    • Windows Vista Business
    • Windows Vista Business x64
    • Windows Vista Enterprise
    • Windows Vista Enterprise x64
    • Windows Vista Home Basic
    • Windows Vista Home Basic x64
    • Windows Vista Home Premium
    • Windows Vista Home Premium x64
    • Windows Vista Starter
    • Windows Vista Ultimate
    • Windows Vista Ultimate x64

So, as the operating systems that are mentioned above does not show that the Windows 7 operating system is supported or not, I suppose that this software will have incompatibility issues in Windows 7.

Re: What is Blade API Monitor

Blade API Monitor will run in Windows 7 operating system only if you do a clean install of the operating system. The incompatibility issues are seen with the users who have done an upgradation of Windows 7. I have done a clean install of Windows 7 too and I am using many of the softwares, that supported only Windows XP and Windows Vista, without any incompatibility problems.

Re: What is Blade API Monitor

To run Blade API Monitor is Windows 7 will be possible. But, this operating system has issues with many other applications and programs. I recommended that you install Windows 7 another drive in your system and this will make your computer a dual boot system. So, you will be able to keep both the operating systems. This will help you to run any incompatible program with Windows 7 in the current operating system.
