Every time a clip is added to the progression, it gets split into two divisions. The audio part demonstrates up in an audio track, and the video part demonstrates up in the video track. When you shift them, or cut them, the modify that influence one also affect the additional. This happens because the two are linked to every other. You can locate out if media is connected by looking at their title. If they are connected, the title will be underlined followed by a [A] annotation for audio and a [V] annotation for video.
