    Unable to change or remove password in PowerPoint

    Hello friend,

    I have have one confusion about the PowerPoint. I want to change the password of my existing PowerPoint file. I have tried various methods to change the password but, didn't get any success in it. If you know how to change or remove password in PowerPoint, then please let me know the same. You help would greatly appreciated. I am waiting for your reply.

    Please follow below steps for to change password in PowerPoint:
    • First open the particular PowerPoint document.
    • Then put the password when asked.
    • Then click over options from the tool menu and then select Security tab.
    • After this open password box to modify password.

    It is critical that you remember your password. If you forget your password, Microsoft cannot retrieve it. Store the passwords that you write down in a secure place away from the information that they help protect. If you lose the password, you cannot open or gain access to the password-protected presentation. Microsoft cannot provide assistance for opening or modifying a presentation whose password you don't remember.

    To change or to remove the password from the PowerPoint, you just need to follows simple procedure. First you need to open the password option from the tool menu of the PowerPoint. If you only want to change the password then provide the updated password into the given text box. And if you want to completely delete the password then you need to click over the 'DELETE' option.

    If you want to create new password for any PowerPoint file then do the following procedure:
    1. Firstly open the desired ppt for password creation.
    2. Then goto 'Tool menu' and choose security tab.
    3. Then next step is to type password in the password box.
    4. Finally click over 'OK' and reopen you PowerPoint file.
