    How to turn on or off Outlook 2007 log

    Hi all,

    I am using MS Outlook. It support it with various types of communication between the e-mail server entered in the log. When the Outlook and e-mail message transfer between servers when problems arise, these logs can help people troubleshooting. Outlook can be with the Exchange, POP3 (version 3), SMTP, IMAP and Windows Live Mail server communications are logged. I want to know that how to turn on or off Outlook 2007 log. Thanks in advance.

    Like POP3 and IMAP transport logs to plain text and not encrypted. By Outlook features, user actions, object model or MAPI calendar generate calendar matters, will be written to the log file. The log file contains information about the following items:
    Sniffer (Inbox auto-processing)

    Reminder
    Calendar project operations (create, modify, or delete)
    Resource Book.

    If you are using Microsoft Windows Vista, Go to c: User name/Local Settings/Temp/Outlook logging. If using Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows XP go to c:/ Documents and Settings/user name/Local Settings/Temp/Outlook Logging. You find that Local Settings folder is hidden by default. One of the following, you can see the Local Settings folder :In the "Tools" menu, click "Folder Options", click "View" tab, and then click "Show hidden files and folders" option. Check and reply.
