How to merge videos in Quicktime

    Hi,
I have some clips downloaded from internet. I want to merge them and create up a single video out of it. The same I want to do in Quicktime player. I had previously tried to merge two videos from it but the screen out put was really dusty. It was not clear the output was damaged to an greater extent. Does both needs a singular format. What should be the output ratio.

If you have multiple video then open all your sequences together with QuickTime Player Pro. If you cannot open multiple sequences at once then they can be replaced by each other. For that you must activate the option open sequences as a new reading in the preferences. For this click on Edit menu > Preferences > Reading Preferences. If you do not have enough memory to open all sequences then Iincrease the memory allocated to QuickTime Pro.

Here you merge all the clips you will need to show your sources and identify the party to export, you might choose to eliminate the beginnings (warnings, generic and logos) and the end (credits and release dates). Each time imagine that there are sound and that you should avoid cutting off the music. Once your choice is, you put the first image to maintain. If you start editing before or to avoid selection error, use the command Select None from Edit menu.

If you want to remove any selection then you can use the Delete button from the Edit menu to retain only the selection as corresponds to the Crop which is used in iMovie. Be careful not to be confused with the command Delete from the same menu that it clears the selection, while Remove retains only the selection. Press the Shift button to extend the selection from that image, place the playback cursor to the end and adjust with the arrows to place it after the last frame to keep.

For each sequence, check the dimensions to make sure that all have the same dimensions. To do this open the information window sequence, press Apple + I for that for each sequence. If you choose a basic format and bring all your clips to it. The information panel of our sequence allows to know the exact dimensions. Like choose the smallest size as a basis, it is usually the best choice, choose the largest size, the lack of smallest sequence that must be enlarged. If the differences are small it will not impact too.

First check that the sequence is to resize correctly in the final format chosen without distortion. To do this the division operation height / width for the original format and the final format. For example, in our case, the final size is 480/260, a ratio of 1.84. If your source has the same ratio no problem you can export to 480x260, otherwise it will have to choose between strategies 3.2 or 3.3 to bring the source to the ratio of 1.84:1.
