Suggestion on picture editing software

I want to know some of the best picture editing software which can help me in editing and creating some good quality pictures. I know that there are number of editing software but i want the best and the easiest software to edit pictures. I use normally photoshop for the same but if anybody else they use some good software better than photoshop then please provide me some information on it so that i can make difference between them. I use this software for photo editing PhotoScape 3.4, it is a software which combines the feature of most of the image software. This software i use for my picture sditing work which is very easy to use, it is known as "Paint.NET 3.5.3". It is a free software which can be easily found out on the internet and also a great image editing tool that has some great features like layer support and unlimited undo. It has all the basic features which you find in some other image editor. It can adjust auto-levels, black and white, brightness, curves, levels etc. It has most of the effects which can be applied to a photo such as artistic, blur, distort, noise, photo, render, stylize.

It has the basic editing tools like cropping, flipping, rotating, resizing, also color tools like auto correction tools, brightness, negative, greyscale, gamma correction. This software can be a great tool for the beginners and professionals users.
