iTunes Error 42408 After 9.03 Upgrade

I am getting an error message "Error 42408 after upgrading to 9.03". I am using an apple Power book. I tried a lot to solve this error but unable to find a solution that could help me to get rid of this problem. It appears as this error is attempting to authorize my Powerbook. please help me regarding this matter.

I think that you can get rid of this problem by uninstalling or removing all the traces of the Itunes 9.03 from your system. And then try to install a fresh copy of the itunes 9.03 on your system i think that after the reinstallation the error should disappear. I hope that this will help you to solve this problem.

I was also having this error but it was with the hcl me laptop running with windows 7 system. After a lot of research and troubleshooting i finally decided to create a new user account and then i used this user account for logging in to the system this idea really worked for me might work in your case too.

Thanks you very much for replying me friend but all the above suggestions seemed as they did not work for me at all. I tried reinstallation so i uninstalled the iTunes program and then reinstalled on my system but it really did not helped me the same error appeared again. Any other ideas please help me.

I am having the same problem so i checked the itunes version which was installed on my system with the help of the About dialog. It showed as 9.0.2 although i have upgraded the iTunes through the system updates. i downloaded the whole package again but it did not help me. please help me to get rid of this.

I had the similar problem with my macbook after trying a lot of procedures i removed the dock iTunes link which seemed running old and the re dragged it to the iTunes from the applications folder again back to the dock. This idea really worked for me i think it will solve your problem too. Hope this works
