Creating Slideshow disc in iDVD

Hi,
I use Nero in Windows to create Slideshow DVD's for project works. But now for emergency I have a MAC laptop. It is not new to me. I want to generate the same files on the DVD. But the thing is that I am a bit unfamiliar with the standards and procedure involved in disc burning. For that I found iDVD installed. After looking out, I found that this can help me to create discs. What are the more features it offers and how to create a slide show disc in it.

iDVD 7 offers a perfect interaction with other applications submitted in digital hub iLife 08 this includes iTunes, GarageBand, iMovie 7, iPhoto 7 and iWeb. So you can access iTunes and iPhoto libraries directly from iDVD 7much faster. It offers you to burn disc under OS X via Toast Titanium or create complex video and multiplexing using DVD Studio Pro.

Re: Creating Slideshow disc in iDVD

I had used this with iMovie, Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express to create movie disc and digital photo slide-show on a DVD. This is really a helpful tool. The best part here is that it is compatible with all types of DVD like DVD-R, DVD + R, DVD-RW and DVD + RW, as far as your burner or SuperDrive is compatible with these formats. And you can create presentation thus be able to view your work in any DVD player.

The new version of this tool is faster and responsive than previous versions. The transition from one theme to another is facilitated and thus one gains in flexibility. It is now equipped with 10 new themes, as 16:9 and 4:3 are emerging in this new version. The interface is more user friendly and allows for easier navigation. It offer a much better customization option now.

Here are some feature highlight of iDVD. It supports HDV, 16:9, RAW photos and small video clips taken by digital cameras. There is a simple function called OneStep DVD which allows you to connect your camcorder to your Mac, run iDVD 7 and create a DVD with this new OneStep DVD. It take all the pictures directly from your camcorder and make a movie on DVD! Difficult to do more simple

The Magic iDVD feature allows you to produce a DVD in a few clicks without even knowing use iDVD 7. Just run it and then click on Magic iDVD and follow the online instruction. Choose a theme, select your video and / or your photos, music tracks and off you go.
