problem to open JPEG and GIF file with MS Photo Editor

The Jpeg and gif files are not opening in the photo editor of Microsoft because the file's already default setting is for different editor option.

To open the files, you can open the files in desired editor to make the right click and it will show you some different option for separate editor.

    To open in particular editor:

1- Go to the folder where you have the files(GIF,JPEG).
2- Select the image file which you wanted to open in particular editor.
3- Right click on the file and editor options would be opened.
4- Select the editor in which you want to open the file.

If you are getting problem yet to open and don't want to specify and commit with the right click then you can use another procedure to change the photo viewer option for the system folders.

To change the behavior of every GIF and JPEG files and that should be permanent you need to configure.

    • Open the directory where your files are stored.
    • Right click on the image file and select open with option
    • The open with option will expand another option named select program.
    • Click on the select program and a list of compatible files would be appeared before you and choose desired editor to open the image file.
