How to display a slideshow automatically?

    Hi,

When i use the powerpoint to make slideshows, i have to click again and again to bring the nest slide, how can i made it to play automatically one after another? I would like it to start immediately. Should I use something other than Power Point?

Thank you for all your suggestions.

In which format you are saving your power point file? Are you manually starting the power point slide show in ppt file by pressing the F5 button then you have to press the next arrow keys fr the next slide to pear if you have not made any automatic animation settings. Rename it as .PPS file and then it should run directly like a slide show after double click.

Make the slide show run automatically

To make the slide show run automatically, you must save it in .PPS.

    To do this:

    • "File"-> "Save As"

    • In the drop down menu ( "File Type"), choose "PowerPoint Show - *.pps"

    • When done, to start double-click the file, the slideshow will start automatically.

You are doing mistakes in use. When you make a slide show, you see the thumbnails on the left is to do everything and offers various settings, like setting the automatic time delay between tow slides etc.

If you want to see the result, press the F5 key and preview, it will appear as the slide that you made.

In order to run automatically, you must set the speed of scrolling slides
    • Slideshow
    • Transition
    • Skip to the next slide
    • Automatically
    • In last just, View Slideshow

You may want simply double-click on a slide show file and have the show begin automatically, instead of opening the slide show when PowerPoint opens. To automate your slide show file:

    • When your slide show is finished. Open the File menu.
    • Click Save As.
    • Click the arrow near the "Save As Type" list box.
    • Click PowerPoint Show (*.pps).
    • Name your file and click OK.

The next time you open this file from outside of PowerPoint, PowerPoint will open and start your slide show automatically.
