Display jpg file in an email received in Outlook

Hello everyone,

The title is perhaps a little confused, so I will explain:

When I read a message in "Mail" and that the sender attached photos to JPG format, they are heard in "attachments" and I can also see in "glance"
So far no worries.

Except it seems to me that before I installing "Snow Leopard" are also displayed below the text of the message and now instead, there are "blue Lego" with "?" and as many photos as attachments.

Do you know how can we do to what appears in the message to the rest of the text?

In advance thank you

Re: Display jpg file in an email received in Outlook

Hi, i'm having the same issue with Outlook 2007. In my case, embedded .jpg files show up as red boxes with an X in them. Can anyone help me to figure out why this might be happening, as well? have you found the solution ?

Can you open other jpg files that are already on your hard drive? A simple solution is to right-click the file. Jpg choose "Open With" and select the program from the list you want to open the file with jpg. The default for jpg files in Windows XP is Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. You can also use Internet Explorer.

Do the following:
  • Open up My Computer. Click the Tools menu.
  • Click Folder Opitons. Click the File Types tab.
  • Scroll down until you see the format Outlook Express won't open. Highlight it and click "Change".
  • Click on your photo editor program from the list. Click "OK"
  • Close the Folder Options window.
