Creating Albums in iPhoto and sharing the same

    Hi,
I have a Digital Camera with some photos clicked on vacation. Now I want to import them directly in iPhoto and create a album for the same. I had not yet started. Does it is necessary to install the camera in the MAC pc or it will detect the same automatically. Also after creating album how to share that with other computers on the network. Thanks in advance.

Launch the tool and in the left column (the library), you can catalog your photos with albums. To import your photos in the left column, you have several options. First connect your camera to your Mac to recover your photographs in iPhoto. Just follow the instructions that appear on the screen. If you want iPhoto will automatically open when connecting a digital camera to your Mac, go to Preferences iPhoto, under General and select iPhoto in the menu.

If you store your photos on CD or DVD and you want the application iPhoto run at the insertion of such media in the drive of your Mac, open it for the scoreboard and CDs DVDs to select iPhoto application like opening for the insertion of a CD image. If you already have your photos stored in folders on your hard drive, just simply drag and drop your files to the left column. Your albums are automatically created.

You can also import your photos by going to the menu file then Import to Library and you create new albums from the menu file > New Album. You can also create folders in the left column, going into the menu file > New Folder. You can organize your library as you see fit. You can easily drag and drop photos from one album to another or from one album to a folder, etc.

Once all your imported pictures in iPhoto and your albums created, you can change the name of your albums / events and change their order in the library. Clicking on an album, the pictures contained therein are displayed in the main window (right) as thumbnails. You can reduce or increase the size of these thumbnails using the slider located at the bottom right.

You can also go in the menu Preferences > Appearance to set the overall presentation of these images. The border, the background of the window for that you can use the cursor black-white and the alignment of images. If a picture is crooked, you can also rotate so that it appears right! ( "General" tab). Finally, set the other options also preference. The tab Sharing preferences in iPhoto allows you to share with Hello your library (or any part) connected to other Macs on your local network, which prevents you from having to recreate your library on all computers.
