First up all you have to select Design > and then Page Setup (or File > then you have to make a Page Setup which you can get it from the menu) and regulate the slide measurement so that the slide covers the whole desktop. You can see the example with 2 monitors side by side, you would necessitate to double the slide width, with 3 monitors triple it extend the slideshow window across the desktop, for example with UltraMon (using a 'maximize to desktop' hotkey)

Windows sustain and maintain a single multi-monitor mode, frequently referred to as customary or extended desktop mode, also DualView or autonomous displays mode. In this mode, all monitors attached to the installed video cards form a single desktop, you can move the mouse and applications or submission to any monitor. Every monitor can use different settings (resolution, color depth and refresh rate).

The important multi-monitor video cards (video cards which can drive 2 or additional monitors) which sustain or maintain the additional, video card-specific modes. Very general is clone mode, in this mode, the same image is shown on 2 or on supplementary monitors. Clone mode is basically limited to the monitors attached to a single video card, for example you could not clone monitor 1 (on video card 1) on monitor 3 (on video card 2) if you have two dualhead cards installed.

Span mode (also called extended mode): in this mode, all the monitors attached to a single video card form a single great or huge monitor. Windows imagines that you are using a single monitor as an alternative of 2 or additional, and every monitor requirements to use the similar resolution and color depth settings, and basically also the similar refresh rate. Most video cards only maintain span mode on Windows XP and earlier.

This mode is generally useful for forcing submission which have no native multi-monitor sustain or maintain to use all obtainable monitors. For example most games will only run on the primary monitor, and in span mode all monitors form a single huge or great primary monitor. When using span mode, Display Properties will basically show the primary monitor running at a wide screen declaration, for example 2048x768 (2 monitors at 1024x768 each), with the secondary monitor is put out of action.
