    Compressor Error Message : Unable to Submit to Queue

    Hi,

    After replacing the drive in macbook and reinstall the Snow Leopard, I was faced with an unpleasant problem. When I try to run in Batch Compressor, it gives me error message, Unable to submit to queue. Please restart your computer or verify your Compressor installation is correct. I checked all the updates. I have run the fix permissions. I deleted and re-installed Compressor. In the end I reinstalled the entire Final Cut Studio. It did not help.

Select Software Update menu Apple and make sure you have the latest updates for your versions of QuickTime, Compressor, Qmaster, and other main system files. When installing the most current versions that you make sure you have the latest software enhancements and additions.

    Check your computer name in Sharing. It is necessary in the Sharing pane of System Preferences display a Computer Name and a Local name server (even if sharing is not activated for any service).

    1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
    2. Click Share.
    3. If the Computer Name field is empty, type a name.
    4. Click the Edit button.
    5. If the local server name field no name appears, type one.

    Clear the User Preferences, you can solve many problems simply by restoring the original settings for Compressor. This will not affect your project files. To restore the original configuration of user preferences Compressor, follow these steps:

    1. In the Finder, navigate to ~ / Library / Preferences (a symbol (~) represents your home folder).
    2. Delete the following files from the Preferences folder:
    * com.apple.Compressor.CompressorSharedService.plist
    * com.apple.compressor.Compressor.plist
