Bitcomet failed while downloading in windows 7

I am using an acer aspire laptop running with windows 7. Also i was using the bitcomet for downloading music and video files from the internet. But yesterday while i was downloading a music file Bitcomet crashed for some reason. Ireally liked the bitcomet program and hence i want it back to work can anyone help me to resolve this.

Bitcomet may have crashed because you may be downloading a file form a a private tracker or your firewall or your router is blocking your connection. Hence please check both these condition. So that either of the two may be the culprit behind the crashing of the Bitcomet program. Hopefully this would have resolved the issue.

The bitcomet failed to download the file because you may be downloading the file which may be infected and hence the bitcomet failed during the download. have you tried to download a different file using the Bitcomet program and the bitcomet program failed again. Try to specify all these details in your further replies.

Thanks for replying me as you told to download a different file using the bitcomet program so i tried to did that the file downloaded to some extent but before the download completes the program crashes again. So can you suggest a different solution to this problem. Thanks once again for the replies.

i have faced the similar problem in the past when i was downloading a music file from a website. So i googled and searched over the internet and finally got an answer to reinstall the program again on my system. Hence i would suggest you to download the file again and freshly install the Bitcomet program.

This may be a firewall problem so check your firewall whether it is blocking this file or else simply try to restore your system to a date before where your system was running smoothly and also stable. After restoring your system i think that the bitcomet program will definitely start downloading the files again.

Have you checked compatibility?
Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.
