Software to record audio streams

I want a software that can record streaming, i always use to do a audio streaming it would be better if i would have some software who records them to make me listen them later also without streaming. If someone has use something like that please post here about it.

Use the audacity, i use it , Edit your audio files quickly. Remove the silences, add an echo or a special effect, remove parasites, mix, etc.. Once changed, your file is saved as OGG, WAV or MP3. The integrated editor allows you to copy, paste and assemble sound samples, but also to adjust speed and pitch of a recording.

Thanks for your suggestions, Is what I can record an audio stream from youtube or deezer? The applications you guys mentioned are form some audio streaming websites, i want something for youtube.

Now it depends on which browser yu are using, because if you using firefox then you have lot of options by multiple addons for this features, and if you not using firefox then better is start using it now.
