For Adding an entry to the list of automatic corrections :
- Click the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect.
- Make sure that the box is checked the Replace text as.
- Replace box, type in the word that you type often wrong, or misspell, Aplin, for example.
- In the box by the correct spelling for the word alpine one, for example.
- Click Add.
You can specify how AutoCorrect automatically detects and corrects spelling errors and input. You can also create your own entries, including entries shall be inserted with a long term or a longer section of text formatted for input from a few letters.To speed up the entry, you can save a block of text as an AutoCorrect entry, and then paste the text by typing a few characters. For example, you can create an AutoText entry, with the document every time, "added Hello Techarena", if you enter HT.
To Edit the replacement text in Entourage Auto Spell Checker :
- Click the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect.
- Click in the list below the field to replace the entry you want to edit, and then click Delete.
- The entry is deleted from the list, replace the text in the fields and through the entry still appears.
- Enter the new text in the Replace box, and then click Add.
To Edit the text, which replaces an entry in Entourage Auto Spell Checker :
- Click the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect.
- Click in the list below the field to replace the item you want to edit.
- Enter the entry in the With box again, or edit it, and then click Replace.
To Delete a specific automatic correction
- Click the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect.
- Click in the list below the field to replace the item you want to remove, and then click Delete.
