iTunes personal library ruined

I was asked to install the iTunes in order to fix the ID3 tags but it could not fix it. But it ruined my personal library. I had separated them before the itunes installation in to two folders Flac and mp3 and these folders also has some sub-folders Now everything got messed up in one folder. Is there any way to group these songs once again.

Most probably it appears as your system has deleted the or mixed all these files so i think. Either you will have to select all the songs from the folder on by one or else once again install the itunes on to your system this might help you to sort all the songs with different extensions within the same folder.

I think that the files are corrupted due to the extension mess up and hence you can't get that files back again on to your system. There seems to be only a single way to achieve this . Try the system restore on your system before installing the itunes. While installing the itunes a restore point is created automatically.

Some times these errors occur due to difference in the extension or different extension conversions. That's why you could get your files back either by reinstalling the iTunes. If you still did not get the files then restoring the system to a date prior to this error must definitely solve this issue.

Reinstall the Itunes on your system and see if you get the files back in the same pattern if not restore the system prior to the installation of the iTunes and check whether you are able to get the files. If you still did not find the missing file then try use recuva software for restoring those files.
