Can not play movies or music with Windows 7

Hello,

For several times now that this problem happens, I am normally on my computer, I get to listen to music or play a video on youtube, then, suddenly, I can play more videos on youtube, mozilla crashes and freezes, similar to itunes or windows media, which they do not want to open or if they are already open, close again ..The problem was resolved when I restarted my computer. But sometimes the problem is represented after a moment of Use . My computer is recent, it is a dell studio 15.

I need your help because it's pretty annoying! thank you very much !!!!!

Can you give us more details like which codec you are using on windows 7? its not necessary because i did use te windows 7 without codecs also for laying various type of videos but sometimes it becomes necessary. Install the k lite code in your windows7and restart the system, problem should get resolve like this.

If you can't play videos on youtube means there is something wrong with your flash player, uninstall flash player plug-in in Firefox and install the latest version from the adobe website, if you still face this issue then check you video drivers and update them respectively.

Mozilla Firefox also gets crash when you install any incompatible addon, go to addon manager in firefox and disable all addons except the flash player and restart the firefox, see if problem persist. Try out some other browser and check if you need to reinstall the firefox or not. hope this helps good luck.

Which antivirus you are using? Uninstall that and perform the following:

• Download Avast and Install.
• Reboot your PC
• Do a full scan of your PC with avast (this can last an hour), At the end of the scan, post the report on this forum.

Then I have another solution: do a right click on the icon of firefox. Go to the Compatibility tab and check "Run as administrator" , if still same then perform following:

• Go to start
• In the search bar, hit "eventvwr"
• Click on the result has given research.
