I am not so much familiar with this tool but I know to work on the basic part. Is this tool enough strong to work on basic 3D modeling or will you recommend something else also.

Bryce allows you to create simple, effective, all parts of sets in three dimensions, the model, the dressing, add water, sky and lighting to get a very convincing result. And that too for free. Just download that and install in your computer. If you are graphic designer type person then you can use this more easily.

The software is launched in full screen on a blank grid. In the toolbar, click the icon shaped mountain called Create field. A mountainous wire red appears on the screen. Click on the small E icon to the right of the mountain to access the properties of the terrain. A new window will appear. An overview of the terrain and 3D black and white is displayed at top right. You can rotate in any direction by clicking and moving the mouse.

In Bryce you can use the various tools of Editing Tools window to define the terrain of your mountain. To erode the terrain, click the button Eroded. To soften the edges, click Smoothing. The Land Canvas window displays the terrain viewed from above. The light areas are the highest and dark areas the lowest. Click directly in the window to create high points. The longer you keep the button pressed, the area becomes more and more white point is high.

You can easily change the height of your mountain. To do this, click on the black one which appears when you mouse over. Then move the mouse to the right to increase the altitude of the mountain, or to the left to reduce it. Buy this you can adjust the size of the mountain where you want to add up.

You can click the M icon on the right of the mountain wire. In the window that appears, click the Library Material represented by an arrow to the right of the ball. The library opens textures. Click on a category Architecture and in the new list that appears, click on Land. Then choose the style of texture you want to apply to your mountain. Feel free to browse the different categories and subcategories of textures.
