Dciman32.Dll Was Not Found Error

Hello,

Since this morning, some programs like foobar2000 doesn't start, Windows gives an error saying the system is missing dbghelp.dll. I made a bunch of research on the net and found nothing.

I tried to reinstall foobar2000 without but still same

Someone has an idea?

Thank you.

My computer:

DELL XPS Studio 1645
Q720@1.60 GHz Intel i7
8GB RAM
Radeon HD 4670
Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit

If you think you've accidentally deleted dciman32.dll but you've already emptied the Trash, you may be able to recover dciman32.dll with a free program for file recovery. Retrieving a copy of dciman32.dll deleted a program file recovery is a good idea unless you are sure you have deleted the file yourself and it worked properly before you did it.

It is used to improve graphics performance by using direct access to video memory. Applications are generally based on dciman32.dll file for performance including games, CAD applications, drawing and graphic editing software. Try uninstalling those application and reinstall them.Dciman32.dll file is dynamic link library for the control interface and display (DCI) Manager.

Re: Dciman32.Dll Was Not Found Error

First insert windows xp cd in your cd rom and then login in windows , click on Start -> Run, type msconfig and click OK, click the button for Expand file. Type the name of the file to replace in the File field to restore (DCIMAN32.DLL) in the Restore from field, select the option (probably the drive letter for your CD-ROM/DVD where you place the CD installation of WinXP), and type the name of the destination folder (Windows \ System32) on the ground to save the file in. Then click the Expand button. Then, use the EXPAND command, like this:

Code:
expand d:\i386\dciman32.dl_ c:\windows\system32\dciman32.dll
(where d: is the drive of your CD-ROM). Then type EXIT and when the pc reboots, you should be able to boot into XP and be without this error message.

Try out the following command in your command prompt:

Quote:
regsvr32 DCIMAN32.dll
Try that and then restart if necessary
