printing modifications

I have installed several different bands of printer all having the same out come; none of them will print black alone. Does anyone know how to fix this?? twilltwo

Can you send me details of printer that you used. Anyhow if you want to print with only black ink, do the following steps:
# Open the "File" menu on your browser toolbar.
# Select "Print."
# When the Print box opens, click the "Properties" button,
# Click on the "Colour" tab and check the box next to "Print in ." and click OK.
# Click "OK" again to print the black and white document.

For getting the black output you have to change the setting of your printer or you can choose the grayscale printing before you give the command for print
1. Press Ctrl+P
2. It will open the dialog box for print
3.Then you have to choose the properties of the printer
4. Now select the gray scale print
5. You get the black and white printout

Raine it did not work but thanks for trying, still does not print or copy in black

Sam D. when I pull up the box ctrl + D there is no choice for preferences and I have already tried the greyscale this does not work either. Help
