Re: Problem using color selector in ms paint

Sounds like your system is affected by a virus or two. Firstly i would recommend you to install an updated version of antivirus and then scan the whole system using the antivirus and if it detects a threat then delete these threats and reboot the machine i thin the problem will definitely get solved all the best.

Appears as your system has been corrupted due to a malicious program and hence i would suggest you to repair your system using the recovery discs and then check whether your problem is solved or not if the problem persists still then you can try to take online help from the microsoft 's official website.

Re: Problem using color selector in ms paint

I think that you are not using the color selector properly there is some thing wrong in your procedures please follow the steps below

* Select the Color Picker and Click Color 1..
* Select a color from the Pallette and Select Color 2.
* Select the second color from the Pallette.
* Select a Brush from the Brushes drop down.
* When you use the left Mouse Button, you will get Color 1.
* When you use the Right Mouse Button, you will get Color 2.

Re: Problem using color selector in ms paint

For solving this problem follow the steps below
* Click Start and then click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
* After this try to locate the following registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Applets\Paint
* Right-click the registry key, and then click Delete.

hopefully you will fix this issue soon.
