    Unable to use .mkv files on MAC OS X

    Hello I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with MAC OS X. The problem is that I have many videos and has the file format of .mkv. The problem is that these files are inexecutable in Mac operating system and I have no tool in order to make it play. Please kindly suggest and provide me with a solution. Thank you.

    The problem that you are not able to use .mkv file on mac operating system is due to the incompatibility of the file format for the media player that you may be using in MAC OS X. You need to convert the files to a specified format that MAC may support. This will help your .mkv file to be executable and hence it will then allow you to use them. On the the converter could MAC mkv coverter. Check out for the same.

    You can use Pavtube converter that is for MAC operating system in order to convert the mkv files to the specified format that you want to. You can install the application and then convert the video files to the format that you want to. This converter basically converts the video file and hence it may then be playable to the media player that you would try to execute. Try it out.

    There are certain media players that support mkv file sunder MAC. you need to download or install these applications in order to make the video files that you have to execute. Install VLC media player for MAC. This supports the .mkv file that you have and hence you can make use of this tool to execute the video. Check out for the same by making the things to work.

    Use BS player that may be available. It is god essential tool for MAC and hence you could use the MKV files that you need to play under the same. There are certain steps that has to be taken into aspects that you need to look out for. You can also try for SM player. It is a player that do not require any codecs. It is easy to install and playable to any sort of file formats. So install these applications for your use.

    Other media players like Fantasy DVD player and Media player classic may help you out in making the things to work fine for you. You need to check out whether the things are much capable in executing the files that you are looking forward to get executed. Install or you can use these applications as well to make use or to work for the files that you need to execute.
