system not booting

I have windows vista and the system doesnt boot up any more. The system was doing a BIO's update and the computer powered doing during this process and thats when I stated having he problems. Please HELP.

You have to open your CPU cabinet and check whether a hard disc is properly connected to the connector or you have to make sure that your RAM is working properly or not. If RAM is burnt then your system will not going to start. Any one of these condition will not able to start you computer. So please check both of these

If the system not booting, then there may be 2 problems for the same. One is that it may be infected with a virus because of which it must have corrupted the system files. Another reason is that an error must have occurred while the BIOS updation. In any situation, I think that you will have to format the system and install a new copy in Windows in it. This is the only solution to the problem.

For the booting process to be started you have to see that all the components are present in your system and then you start the system. If it is not starting then you have to see that the components of the system are connected properly. Some time it may be the problem of hard disk failure. If it the problem then you have to repair it or it may lead to irrepairable conditions.

Possibly you need to remove the battery and then check out by restarting the system. After that remove the Ram and then disconnect all the parts. Add thermal paste ti the heat sink and clean the processor. Connect all the devices and add the battery. Now try to boot the system. Hope this should work out for you.
