Unable to play hdtv.Xvid-fqm in Windows 7

Hello. I am using a desktop machine with Windows 7 installed in it as the operating system. The problem is that I am unable to execute or play hdtv.Xvid-fqm file format file. It gives me an error that it is not able to open. I tried adding it to archive and then extracting the same using various compression tools. But nothing seems to go correct. Please help. Thank you.

As you are not able to play the hdtv.xvid-fqm file format this is because the files may be with a compression process. The thing is you need to decompress it with latest compression tool. It will then respond properly. You need to use Winrar 3.x. This is the latest compression tool and hence decompressing it with the same will let you to work with the file format then. Check it out.

The file format may not be able to get executed under the media player that you are using. You need to check out for the specified media content player that may support the files to execute. You need to download Blaze Video Hdtv player. This media player actually supports the file format content and thus may allow you to execute the files that you want to play. Try it out. This must help.

There is another tool called as 7zip free compression tool. you an get it downloaded form its official site. Just download the application and then extract the files that is in the content. You may then receive the actual content to get execute for the player that it supports. The quality and the file format is quite very much different for the player that you may be using. So do use the player that may support them as well.

You need to install or get the codec for the media player that you are using. It may be that the codec is been missing in the media player so that the file can be executed. You need to look out for it. Also if there is a problem with the player then you can get to know by reinstalling the media player. Uninstall the player first and then install it again using the setup file.

There is another alternative for the same. Rename the file by removing the "-fqm" from the file. Now try to execute the file in the media player. This should help you out. Other than that you can also look out for the latest version of the player and get it install. This may be because the operating system you are using is highly sophisticated and it needs latest tools to cope well with the operating system. This may lead to better conclusion.
