Getting error message like “PowerPoint file is already open”

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Office 2003, I am getting error message like “PowerPoint file is already open” whenever I try to open power point. MS Office work properly till tomorrow but today I download one PowerPoint presentation on internet and I play this on my computer it will play properly but after that when I try to open new or other PowerPoint presentation that time I get this error. And then I try to start new PowerPoint presentation that time also get same error for solving this problem anyone help me.

I give you better solution for that because I also face this same problem, but that time I could not download any file from the internet that time my computer goes infected by the virus, because some viruses are start when you start any application and when you close this application after that also this file run on background, and if you want to solve this problem then you have to format your computer.

No need to format all computer because formatting is not first option for solving any problem for solving this problem you have to remove MS Office from your computer and then re installed in your computer because if suppose any virus will infected your PowerPoint then it will also remove when you remove this MS Office, I think before that formatting you have to try this possibility also, maybe it will also help you.

I think this is a virus problem with your computer and for solving this problem you have to use antivirus, and before the scanning you have to update your antivirus and then try to scan your computer I think during the scanning you find some infected file from MS Office installed files then remove this file and try to run PowerPoint if it will not properly start then you have to install new MS Office setup, I think using this solution you able to solve your problem.

I think this is a major problem with your computer, this is a virus infection with your computer and you have to solve this problem as soon as because if this virus may infected your all the application then you notable to open any software for solving this problem you have to format your computer and then installed it again and newly install MS Office and try to open any PowerPoint file I think after using this solution you able to open all MS Office file.
