Spy sweeper update problem

I am using the McAfee and the Spy sweeper both with my system. But whenever i try to use the spy sweeper it always asks me for an update and then starts to download the update. After that it asks for restarting, When i click restart now a new message comes up and ask me saying "The connection to the Spy Sweeper engine has been lost or terminated". I am fed of this problem please tell me how can solve this spy sweeper update problem.

I would like to know whether you have installed the spy sweeper from a website or you have purchased it also let me know whether the spy sweeper worked for you for some days or you are facing the problem right after the installation.Till then i would advise you to re-install the spy sweeper this might work for you.

Installing another anti virus will do the trick since the spy sweeper always troubles the windows 7 user. I would also advice you to install it from a different location or from a different website this might surely help you since some of the websites do not provide the proper download file. Hence i would suggest you to download it again and install it.

The spy sweeper update problem could be solved quite easily either by downloading the file again and then reinstalling it on your system again. If this still not solves your problem then you can disable the update option under the settings. Hence it would not ask for the update and this might work for you. Hope you can fix it.

If a lot of free option are available then i don't know why are you bothering about the spy sweeper so much. You can use other Anti viruses like the AVG 9.0 free edition and a lot more Anti Viruses are available freely over the internet. If you are so much concerned about the spy sweeper then i think that you must download the Malwarebytes Animalware Utility and then run a quick scan and try to install the spy sweeper again.

Most probably it seems like there was a problem during the installation hence i would advice you to download it again but from the official website of the Spy sweeper and the install it. But before the installation try to make sure that you have uninstalled all traces of the spy sweeper which was installed previously.
