Windows calender missing under Windows 7

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it was previously installed with Windows vista as the operating system. It had a Windows Calender program but after I have upgraded the system to windows 7 it is unable to find the calender and found missing. Please help me out in order to get the application to be activated in Windows 7. It would be great help. Thank you.

Well according to me it is quite very much impossible for the Windows that worked in Vista to work under Windows 7 as it do not have the features to support the sophisticated operating system. You can use some other tools or application program in order to get the calender to work for the operating system you are using that is Windows. You can refer here by clicking on the following link for the same. Calender for Windows 7.

You need to transfer the files or the folders to the current installed program files folder under Windows 7. The Windows calender folder needs to be copied and hence it would navigate through the location that is been mentioned. Check out for the same. It is easy to transfer and make use of the program by moving them to the current location from its old one.

There is an alternative by instaling the applications or you can also make the things to work accordingly by folowing the steps as follows:

    1) Go to the start menu.
    2) Now open the control panel.
    3) Under that open appearance and personalization.
    4) Then to Desktop gadgets.
    5) look out for the things you may get the needy.

Install the compatibility tools for Windows vista under Windows 7. This should be the alternative for making the application to work with windows 7. The compatibility mode will help you to use the application that generally works under vista and is unable to cope with Windows 7. This would help in making the things to work accordingly in the manner you want.

Hide the Microsoft services in order to make the calender to work. Follow the steps:

    1) Click the start button and type msconfig in the search box.
    2) Under the selective startup tab check for Hide all Microsoft services.
    3) Disable all the services.
    4) Restart the system.
