Image correction problem in Photo

Hi,
I have a old camera. When I clicked photos in it the image quality is quiet high. I use Gimp to work on those images. First sometime it is necessary to set the contrast and brightness. This takes time. Basically I am creating some set of images and creating a online catalog. So which is fine to take a good images. What are the things to be considered.

The recent digital cameras are becoming more intelligent. Packed program of internal analysis and treatment, they are able to adapt to a scene to be photographed with the optimal settings. These PDAs can even correct, alone, without having to go through a computer, some small defects common: red eye, contrast, etc..

These automatism are often effective, they are not provided and some miraculous images resist them. These photos considered failed and that we would be tempted to slip into the trash, however, are not permanently lost. With a good software for image editing, a little patience and technique, it is possible to save most. The problem lies with us.

The most common errors are often of human origin. An oversight in the settings, framing a bit fast and then disappointment on the horizon is wobbly, the composition is not balanced, the colors are fantastic, it's too dark or overexposed, blurry, etc.. In this case, we will show you how to fix in a few clicks of the mouse, the most common errors. This is also an opportunity to explain why a picture is missed, remembered a few basic rules of photography and to specify what he would have been good to do at the time of the shooting, to save all work refinishing .

Almost all images can be corrected, as long as you have time to devote to them. One case, however, is resistant to virtually all forms of treatment: that the picture blurred. It depends on the blur it is light, one can artificially enhance the impression of sharpness and the picture will become usable for prints in small sizes. However, an important uncertainty is fatal, so consider this when you take your shots.

Along with this software like Flickr, Picasa, it is now possible to make slide shows directly on websites. Moreover, most sites that host photos (Flickr, Picasaweb ...), those specializing in prints online (Photoways, Photoweb, MyPix, etc..) Or even some instant messaging software (Windows Live Messenger) offer slideshow functions. Their online services are now as much or more than free software
