Re: System gets Hang after Vista installation

Hi Windows users !, its great that you are going to use a new technology that is the one of the product of Microsoft Corporation "Windows Vista".If you are going to install it and you are getting so much error like you system gets hang and task manager and icons doesn't come up.

Then its very important, you need to check your system configuration for Windows vista and most important thing is that where do you use it.Home basic or Business. This is the list of configuration for both environment:

For Home Users:
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
512 MB of RAM
20 GB at least 15GB should be free
32 MB of graphics memory and DirectX supported
DVD-ROM drive
Audio Output
Internet access

For Business purpose:
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 GB of RAM
40 GB with at least 15 GB free space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
- WDDM Driver
-128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
-Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
-32 bits per pixel
DVD-ROM drive
Audio Output
Internet access

Re: System gets Hang after Vista installation

Scvhost.exe:

It's a generic name of a host process that is executed from Dynamic link library of windows. When system starts this process interacts with the service section of windows registry and makes a bunch of services that is needed to load for system handling and startup. It is located into "%SystemRoot%\System32\"

If you want to know the list of services that are bunched with Svchost.exe.
Open the start menu and click Run,type "Command" into Run box and press Enter Key. A command prompt will shown and type "Tasklist /scv" there, you will see all the services that are running with Scvhost.exe process.

Re: System gets Hang after Vista installation

If you are going to install the XP after removing the Windows Vista and getting " Hard disk not Found" error . Then you need to change the mode of your drive using BIOS and make it IDE including some special drivers and try to install Windows XP.
If this is not going successful,Install a slipstream program including the driver from the manufacturer and burn it with XP image copy of Windows and install it.
