Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Freezes The System

Hello, I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 on my Windows vista. But, from few days it is giving me different types of problems. Whenever I try to open it on my computer it results in Freezing of my System. Then I require to restart my computer. So, if anyone knows how to overcome this problem then please reply me with solution.

Are you aware that your RAM is working properly or not. There may be possibility that your RAM is not providing required memory to run the Adobe Photoshop on your computer and that is why you are getting this problem. So, just check it and then if you are running out of memory install additional memory on your computer.

You need to follow the solutions one by one till you don't able to solve your problem:
  • You need to again create Photoshop preferences file.
  • Start your photoshop when you are not using any other application on your computer.
  • You need to stop the User Access Control.
  • You need to also check your all drivers.
  • Remove all of the temporary files from your computer.
  • You can check for the defragment of hard disks.
  • Scan the system for viruses.

It may be possible that your Adobe Photoshop 7.0 have been got corrupted and that is why when Windows try to start it, it wont able to do that. So, you need to remove that files from your computer by uninstalling your Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and again install it on your computer. That will solve your problem of corrupted files of Adobe Photoshop and you can able to use it without any problem.

You need to fulfill the minimum requirements for Photoshop as below:
  • 1.8GHz or faster processor
  • Microsoft Windows
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 1GB of available hard-disk space for installation
  • 1,024x768 display
  • 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • QuickTime 7.2 software
  • Broadband Internet connection required for online services

You are getting this problem due to the problem in your files of the Adobe Photoshop 7.0. You can simply solve this problem by reinstalling the Adobe Photoshop on your computer. It will fix all the errors related to your adobe files and you can able to solve your problem of freezing. So, just reinstall photoshop and solve your freezing problem. You can also try for the checking of repair while installing Adobe photoshop which will also help you to replace corrupted files from your computer.
