No Menu in Internet Explorer 7

    Hi,
I cannot see the Menu bar in Internet Explorer 7. I had tried to see the same in the other options but that does not bring it down. Is there a way by which I can store the same permanently on the browser somewhere above Address bar. If yes then what are the steps included in this. Do I have to get back a new setup for this. Thanks in advance.

Users of Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP or Windows Vista are probably surprised by the disappearance of the menu bar. You can make that reappear that back again on both temporary or permanent basis. Above all, know how easy it is to display the menu bar in Internet Explorer 7: A simple pressing the Alt key or F10 makes its reappearance in effect.

When your press F10 it appears only for a while. Once a click or any other action is performed on the current window, the menu bar will disappear. In addition, we are unable to move the bar to place it above the address bar. In order to be displayed permanently, you must click on the Tools button in IE7 and select Menu Bar.

If you wan to move the position of this bar then you to make changes in the registry. For this run the registry editor and then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar \ WebBrowser. Create a new 32-bit DWORD value named ITBar7Position. Give him 1 as a hexadecimal value. If you want to delete the amendment, it is enough to erase this value ITBar7Position. Restart your pc.

Finally, remember that it is possible to get the same result without going through the registry. With Windows XP Pro or Vista, you can use the manager group policy (which is not present on other versions of Windows). For Windows Vista then Start > Run then type gpedit.msc and click OK. In the Windows Group Policy, go to the following directory structure, User Configuration> Administrative Templates> Windows Components> Internet Explorer.

It is possible by editing the Group policy editor. Run it by typing gpedit.msc. In the right side, double-click on Activate the menu bar by default. And check the "Enable" in the Properties. Then perform the same operation for the line Move the menu bar above the navigation bar. The menu bar is now displayed by default and will be permanently placed above the address bar:
