Does AppRemover really removes spyware

Hi,
I was searching for a application remover software. I found a small application called AppRemover. The description of this tool mentioned that this removed spywares from the computer. Is that true, if this is fine then I need some more details on it. If there is other software related to same then also post some suggestion for it. I am looking specifically for a uninstaller tool.
