Need information on IBM Lotus Symphony

    Hi,
I need some information on IBM Lotus Symphony. It is an office application by IBM. What more is offered in it in comparison to Microsoft Office. As we all know that Microsoft Office is the widely used application and easy to use also. There are more competitors like Open Office. What new is offered by IBM in its office application. Does these tools support, import as export formats of Microsoft Office (DOC, XLS, PPT) and PDF documents, RTF, etc. Thanks in advance.

IBM offers a range of free tools together under the name Lotus Symphony. A word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software will be part of the new sequence whose code of course based on OpenOffice.org. One could say that another alternative based on the same code and offering the same format (ODF) is unnecessary. But the fact is that IBM has an image that are not his allies in this battle.
