How can Convert Docx file to other format

    Hi all,

I am using Microsoft word 2007 on my computer. Whenever i save the file , it save in Docx format. But this format is not compatible with older versions of Microsoft Word. It is also not supported by any operating systems like Linux or Mac OS . It is also not compatible with other word processing applications like OpenOffice, Lotus 123, or NeoOffice. How can i convert this to any other file format. Please suggest.

I am surprised but why do you need any other software to convert the file to other format if you are already using Microsoft Office 2007.

Using it you can save the *.docx files in the old office (MS Office 97-2003) format *.doc which is compatible with other softwares...

Though I am not sure this is what you may want....
