| Re: access 2000 mdb changes when copied in windows 7
According to me, this problem is but natural to come. The Access file of the Office 2000 or 97 will not work in Windows 7 office, because the office in your Windows 7 is of higher or newer version. I would suggest you to copy the data of the older access file and paste in new access file in Windows 7 office. Hope you will be able to solve the problem. |

| Re: access 2000 mdb changes when copied in windows 7
i'm not sure i made myself clear. i created a database in office 97 and was using it in office 2000 with no problems in windows xp. i am now using windows 7 and when i copy the database from its directory to another directory, say c:\temp, i lose information that was in the database. if i purchase say office 2007 can i 1) use the database i created in office 97 and if i do, can i then use the office 2007 access database in my other computer which is running office 2000 (on windows xp)? tia ...steve |
