Change email program for Mozilla firefox 3.5 under windows 7

Hi. Well I have a desktop machine with windows 7 installed as the operating system installed in it. The problem is that i use mozilla firefox 3.5 as my web browser and it automatically displays MS outlook as my default email client program instead of yahoo. It used to show up before but after upgradation with windows 7 it is not. Please help. Thank you.

It may be that the program that is been assigned before the installation of windows 7 may have been changed. You need to change it by mentioning the one that you want to set it in order to get access to the very page. This would then let you access to the email client program that you want to. Check out for the issue. This is basically the concern for the thing.

You need to follow the steps given as follows:

Go to the Firefox and then open the tools option.
Then check out for the options.
Check out for the default page that is been assigned out there.
Change the name of the same that is been assigned.
Now write the appropriate one.

There may be issue with the browser that may not be allowing to get access to the particular page. It would be in indeed good that you use some other browser. This should help you out to check out for the same. If the other browser are showing the same issue then it should be the problem associated with the operating system that enables it to default.

A virus may also be acting as the third party agent which may not be allowing to get access to the required page directly. It is sometimes quite possible that a virus may act such ways that you may not able to make any changes. Run a scan heck wizard this shall help you out in finding out whether its the same problem. One of the alternative can be to uninstall the web browser and then install a new fresh pack of the browser again. May be this should help you out. You can try to run the same thing under safe mode. this shall help you out to let to know that whether its the operating system issue or some third party. Check ut by making the changes under safe mode. Hope this should help you out.
