The system Mac OS X is designed to be as easy to use as possible and as such it is not really into the lace for which the number of files installed on the hard disk. Thus, the system installs language files for all languages in which Apple sells its computers. This is a good giga-byte of unnecessary files cluttering the hard drive. Both say it is good to reclaim disk space.

Several programs help remove such files, including the Optimizer. We use one of these software called Delocalization. Type the name on a search engine to locate a site to download and install it on your Mac. Then run Delocalization. A window appears. Be careful, some users have accidentally deleted all the files from their computer.

Delocalization does not means removing files that match the original language of the Mac. Here's how it is done. Click Select All (select all) then be sure to uncheck the following the entries. You can leave the Startup disk only box checked. It specifies that the cleanup will take place on the hard disk boot. However, the operating system Mac is almost always on this disc. Once you have adjusted these settings and only then click Clean (clean). You will then get one more GB of disk space!

The icons found on the Dock or in the records are not required: it is relatively easy to change the tray icon if some do not agree. The download takes place and one is placed on the desktop. Now select the image you want to use as a tray icon, and press Command I to bring up the information panel. Also select the application or folder you want to change the icon and do likewise Apple i. Now, just select the icon that we downloaded (top panel information) and to activate Edit Copy. On the other window, it must again select the icon in the top panel and choose Edit Paste.

DeLocalizer is an service which tends to removes a Non-English localization resources. This service is used to give language support for any application. What ever strint of text which is normally used by an application is mentioned in the localization file. Your operating system MAC also has other than English language support. This is a nice technique which is used to run other applications with different languages.
