How can I create a macro in microsoft PowerPoint?

Hello Friends,

I am aware about how to create the macro in Microsoft word and Microsoft excel. But thing is that I don't know how to create macro in Microsoft PowerPoint. And the macro creation in word and PowerPoint are totally different methods.
Is anyone tried the macro creation in Microsoft PowerPoint? Please help me over this, I am waiting for your reply.

You can record macro in Microsoft PowerPoint using below procedure:
  • First Point to Macro from the "Tools menu" and then select "Record New Macro" option.
  • Then enter a name for the macro in Macro name box
  • Then select Store macro box, and then click the location for the macro.
  • You can add description of the macro in using "Description box".
  • Then click on OK button.
  • Then record the actions for the macro, and then finally select "Stop Recording" from toolbar

Using the "Microsoft Visual Basic" we can create macros for Microsoft PowerPoint, See below:
  1. First open the "Microsoft PowerPoint", then click on the "Tools menu",
  2. Then select "Macro" option and then click on "Visual Basic Editor".
  3. Then click on the "Module" form the "Insert menu" of the "Microsoft Visual Basic Editor".
  4. Then you need to provide code for the module code window.
  5. To run this macro from "from the module window", you need to press "F5" key.
  6. After writing macro,click on the "File menu" and select "Close and Return to Microsoft PowerPoint" option.

To create the macro in the Microsoft PowerPoint you can us the "Record Macro" option of the Microsoft PowerPoint toolbar. You can also use the Visual Basic Editor for the macro creation in PowerPoint. If you are ware about the Visual Basic programming then it will be more easy to use the Visual Basic Editor for PowerPoint macros. Try something below:
*. At the starting click over the "Office button" and and then select "Other Formats" from the "Save As" option.
*. When you will see the Save As dialog box window, then select "PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Presentation" and select "Save to continue" option.
*. Then Open "Developer tab" and then select "View Macros button".
*. Then click on "Create to continue", and you will get "Visual Basic Editor window" on screen, then type any command for macro.
*. Then save the macro file by either using "Ctrl+ S" key combination or you can use the file menu.

It is also possible to copy the some part of any macro to create macro in Microsoft PowerPoint. And for this you should do the below:
  1. Open the PowerPoint presentation which comprises the macro
  2. Then go to "Tools menu" and click the "Macros" option.
  3. The put the name of macro which you are going to copy.
  4. The goto Edit option.
  5. The you need to choose the lines of the macro that you want.
  6. Then select "Copy Button image" for switch to "module" and paste the copied rows of macros.
