As a reminder, OpenCL is a combination of APIs and language largely inherited from C for CUDA, created by the Khronos Group, to use the CPU or GPU as a calculation unit with a single code. There are four in number and offer all the calculations which take the form of visually on your CPU or your GPU if it is consistent. It OpenGL 3.x is used for 3D rendering. |

Simple Mesh is displayed and each point is distorted via a kernel OpenCL who also calculate the normal linked to create a ripple all. It was developed entirely by JeGX.This is a rendering of the Julia fractal ray-tracing and so busy exploiting the quaternions in the kernel OpenCL. It is based on a demo provided by Apple. |

OpenCL GPU Caps Viewer 1.8.0 Particles Millions of particles are shown (their number is configurable) and react to movement of the mouse in the window. Their displacement is calculated via OpenCL. It may be conditioned by the transcendental functions. It is based on a demo Ruisource. Here a big donut of color subjected to a light source is moved, then we apply a post-processing type of blur to the image via OpenCL. It is based on a demo of the NVIDIA SDK.

They are not available for all demos, but have been implemented when necessary. They will be discussed in our results, so here are the details. OpenCL GPU Caps Viewer 1.8.0Taille the Mesh. In the test Mesh Deformer, we wanted to have the opportunity to change the number of vertices composing the mesh to see, the performance impact of our different calculation units OpenCL. |

Support OpenCL AMD causing problems with the Interop option it has not been used. Moreover, the option Local Mem was systematically planted our test Post FX, the result is zero. It is the same for the Radeon HD 4670 and the default mode in the test Mesh Deformer, which had big problems with displays. |
