FRETLIGHT Guitar-Tuition Software in a Windows Vista environment

Hello All, I've recently bought a Fretlight guitar on eBay & the accompanying software disc contains four files with a .fvp extension which is not recognized by Windows Media Player ... any clues as to what .fvp means & how they can be played

    Cheers, CCR

You will have to install the Fretlight Guitar software to be able to run the .fvp files. .fvp files are not standard video files and will not be recognized by the windows media player. These files can only be played with the Fretlight guitar software. If you have already installed the software then try opening the files with it.

Yes this is true that windows media can not play .fvp extension file but you can try to run this on the K-lite mega codec pack which support this kind format try the FLV player that really support the .fvp. SO download the same and enjoy. Hope this will help you. Thank you

The .fvp file can be played on the flash video player . So you must get the flv player which can play this file over the internet , install this file and just play. Else try to download the k-lite codec and install this file in to your system these files can be played using the k-lite codec software. I hope you got the solution.
