Replace thumbnail of a video?

I am looking for software that inserts an image (chosen from my list of images) in position # 0 of a video.

Possible?

In short I want something simple, which replaces (or inserts) the 1st image of the video.

What can you advise me? Thank you

You can do it with windows movie maker? have you tried with it? There are many more software applications available for the same, like FrameShots, but better is first try with windows movie maker, you'll find less software for free like this.

Thank you for your reply, sorry for ot giving full info in my first post, i need software to work on ubuntu, i have windows xp but its needs format and i don't have format cd now. any idea bout such application for linux platform?

I can advise you PiTiVi, software running on the same principle as Windows Movie Maker, you'll be too confused by its use.
