Hi ,

I am using windows Xp SP2 in my system, I realize that my system will slow and have used lots of time to start up and also shutdown, I thing there is something wrong with my hard disk. I already had defragment my hard disk, But it takes lot of time like 23-24 hours. I just want that is any software of defragmentation of windows available free or easy to download on my system without ant system requirement? Please suggest.

If your system is going to slow , You can also check the disk error in windiows. You need to open command prompt by typing cmd in the run box. Then type chkdsk /f and press enter. It will check the error in your hard disk drive and fix the error. If you found again same issue, then defragement the software with above tool. Best of luck.
