    Zune Software sign-in problem

    Hi,

I have a windows xp pc. When I open the Zune software and go to Marketplace, and click the enter button in the top most in my email and password and click the sign, a thin circle comes, saying signing in, and later after 5 seconds it goes straight to this error message, Can't complete the operation because there is no Internet access.I tried to restart the computer to reinstall and uninstall the software, but nothing changes. Can anyone resolve my Zune Software sign-in problem ???

If you haven't already, consider turning off you firewall and your anti virus auto protect. Also, if that is XP Media Center edition, I heard there was some problems or something but I don't know anything about it and it can probably be resolved if it has to do something with the operating system.

For service outages, which can hinder their ability to access the Zune Web site. To do this, follow these steps:

    2. See the Zune screen status.

If a power outage, this may be why you can not access the Zune. If there are interruptions to the next step. Verify that you are using the correct Windows Live ID, and you are correctly typing your password.

If you are using your personal email (apart from a Hotmail, MSN or Windows Live) as your Windows Live ID, make sure you have activated your account. Validate that the date and time are correct on your computer. To do this, follow these steps, depending on the version of Windows you are running.
    1. Click Start, click Run, type timedate.cpl, and then click OK.
    2. In the Date and Time tab, verify that the correct date and time appear.
    3. Make necessary adjustments and then click OK.

Verify that the Zune software appears on the permission list in Windows firewall.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type firewall.cpl, and then click OK.
    2. Click the Exceptions tab.
    3. Click Add Program.
    4. Click Browse.
    5. Locate and select Zune.exe and then click Open.
Note By default, Zune is installed at the following location:
    C:\Program File\Zune\
    6. Click OK twice.
