    Hi,

There is no any keyboard shortcut available to open the notepad. But you can assign any user defined shortcut for notepad. for this you will need to adjust the properties of the notepad. When you open the notepad property you will get "Shortcut key" option. You can assign any key combination. For e.g Atl +M+L. Lets try this trick and let me know if you are able to create shortcut key for notepad or not

    Hello,

You can create your own shortcut key to open the notepad. And for that do the following process:
    • Open the Windows Explorer from Start > All Programs > Accessories.
    • Then find "notepad.exe" within "C:\Windows\System32".
    • Then make right click on "notepad.exe", and select the option to create desktop shortcut.
    • Then right-click on the notepad desktop shortcut, and then select on Properties.
    • Then select the "Shortcut key" option, then provide the shorcut key that you wan to apply for the notepad.

Re: How to open notepad with keyboard shortcut?

    Hi,

I suggest you that , rather than creating keyboard shortcut to open the notepad please create the desktop shortcut for notepad. If you don't know this then please see below:
    1. Right click on the notepad from start > All program> accessories.
    2. Then select the "Send to" option.
    3. Then you need to select the option "Desktop(Create shortcut)".
    4. Then goto the desktop and make sure that desktop shortcut for notepad is created.
