Can't uninstall VLC

Hello,

I'm here to ask you for a help, i'm totally tired with VLC neither i can upgrade not even uninstall it. Its giving me some error saying that i don't have access or permission, i'm the only user on my pc. I can access other softwares without any issue, only the vlc acting weird. How can i remove VLC? Please help !!!!!

Giving the access permission error while uninstalling? This happens when you tried to uninstall anything from the limited account, never happens in admin account. Anyways , have you tried to install it with CCleaner? I use ccleaner to manage my applications, it works really nice, never gives such issues .

Thanks for your immediate feedback. I have already tried CCleaner, and its giving me error 5 access denied. I searched Microsoft knowledge base for this error and it suggested me , "To resolve this issue, reapply the policy and give the user the correct permissions" , but i don't know how to do that. Any more suggestions?

Trying to uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller is very effective, its one of the best uninstaller alternative to windows add/remove program and its also a applications manager,cleans, traces and remove useless files.

Do the following:

1. Start Task Manager,
2. Find vlc.exe, kill it
3. Now go to Add/remove programs or your uninstaller and remove it,
4. It should do, if you are admin of your pc.
